Abstract
This Decision, based on the provisions of the Law on strategic investment projects of the Republic of Croatia, upon the received proposal from the Commission for the evaluation and determination of strategic project proposals, declares the project entitled "Advanced geothermal power plants with internalization of carbon compounds AAT Geothermae" as a strategic investment project of the Republic of Croatia. This project, financed by a private investor (point III), envisages the use of energy by using geothermal water as an energy source and producing electricity and heat in a two-phase process, which would purify the by-product of CO 2 and press it back into the well to regenerate the layer and maintain pressure. The project is a pilot project of highly efficient production of green energy from renewable sources of geothermal resources without discharges into the environment.
