Abstract
This Decision, based on the provisions of the national Water Law, defines sensitive areas in the Republic of Croatia in the water area of the Danube River and the Adriatic water area. This Decision does not define less sensitive areas. The water area of the Danube River is entirely a basin of a sensitive area. All the provisions that apply to sensitive areas are applied to the watershed of the sensitive area in an appropriate manner. In the Adriatic water area, all areas designated as eutrophic, areas intended for capturing water for human consumption and protected nature areas constitute a sensitive area. Attachments are an integral part of this Decision: Annex I. Cartographic representation of sensitive areas in the Republic of Croatia; Annex II. List of sensitive areas in the Republic of Croatia.
