Decision on the implementation of a temporary emergency aid measure for producers of fattening cattle, fattening pigs and lambs for slaughter with business problems caused by the COVID-19 epidemic and for entities operating in approved ungulate slaughter facilities.

This Decisions regulates the temporary emergency measure aimed to assist Croatian based producers of fattening/slaughter cattle, fattening pigs, lambs and for entities operating in approved ungulate slaughter facilities, with business problems caused by the epidemic of COVID-19 disease caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus. With this Decision, the aid will be granted to producers of fattening cattle, fattening pigs and lambs for slaughter who, due to the slowdown in economic activities caused by the COVID-19 epidemic, have difficulties to place fattened cattle on the market. This Decision also grants aid to food business operators that have registered facilities for the slaughter of ungulates, exclusively for the slaughter of livestock. The Ministry of Agriculture is in charge of the implementation of this Decision. The Ministry of Agriculture will determine the eligibility criteria for aid beneficiaries, eligibility criteria for fattened cattle, fattened pigs and lambs for slaughter for which aid can be paid, including the way and dynamics for the payment of such aid.
