Abstract
This Decision here determines: the updated list of Croatian vessels that meet the criteria for entry into the Register of ICCAT fishing vessels and are authorized to carry out commercial fishing at sea with purse seiners; individual quotas for catching tuna with purse seiners per each vessel for the calendar year 2024. The right to be entered in the Register of ICCAT fishing vessels for tuna seine fishing in 2024 is achieved by vessels listed in point II. of this text. Vessels from point II. of this Decision are authorized for bluefin tuna fishing with purse seiners from 26 May 2024 until 15 July 2024, i.e. until the quota is used up, whichever occurs first, and they will be provided with permits for commercial bluefin tuna fishing for the specified period.
