Abstract
This Decision determines: the list of vessels that meet the criteria for entry into the Register of ICCAT fishing vessels and which are authorized to carry out commercial fishing at sea with purse seiners; all related individual quotas for catching tuna with purse seiners per each listed vessel during the year 2023. The right to be entered in the Register of ICCAT fishing vessels for tuna seine fishing in 2023 is achieved by Croatian fishing vessels that are listed (among related quotas) in point II of this Decision. Vessels from this list are authorized for bluefin tuna fishing with purse seiners from 26 May 2023 until 15 July 2023, i.e. until the quota is used up, whichever occurs first.
