Abstract
This Law amends certain provisions part of the Law on animal protection (originally published in the Official Gazette of the Republic of Croatia 102/2017).
In Article 15, the provisions of the paragraph 5 are here deleted. Article 75 (paragraph 2) is amended as follows: “Inspection supervision in the implementation of this Law and its regulations adopted thereunder shall be carried out by veterinary or agricultural inspectors of the State Inspectorate in accordance with the powers specified in special regulations on veterinary medicine and agriculture". The title above Article 76 is amended to read: "Surveillance". The heading above the article and article 78 are deleted. In article 79, the word "veterinary" is deleted and after the word "veterinary medicine" the words "or agriculture" are added. In article 82, paragraphs 2 and 3 are amended to read: “(2) An appeal may be lodged against the decision of the veterinary inspector issued pursuant to this Law in the first instance within 15 days from the delivery of the decision; (3) The second instance administrative procedure shall be conducted by the competent internal organizational unit for secondary administrative instance procedure in the central office of the State Inspectorate". In article 87, paragraph 1, point 10 is deleted, so the former point 11 now becomes point 10.
