Abstract
This Law changes certain provisions part of the Law on the implementation of Regulation (EC) No 1829/2003 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 22 September 2003 on genetically modified food and feed and Regulation (EC) No 1830/2003 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 22 September 2003 on the traceability and labelling of genetically modified organisms and the traceability of food and feed products produced from genetically modified organisms amending Council Directive 2001/18/EC ("Official Gazette" 18/2013).
Changes are related to the official control and inspection duties, and obligations to be implemented/observed on the territory of the Croatian Republic (official controls on the implementation of Regulation (EC) No. 1830/2003 in the part that regards the labelling of genetically modified organisms in retail, carried out by economic inspectors of the State Inspectorate).
