Abstract
This Law adds and amends various provisions of articles 2, 3, 22, 27, 28, 30, 33 and 45 of the Law on ship and port security (Official Gazette 124/2009).
Major changes are related to the general definitions and terms, administrative and legal provisions, monitoring duties and obligations, and security measures to apply in certain cases.

Entry into force notes
This Law enters into force eight days after its publication in the Official Gazette, except for the provisions of article 2 paragraph 6 which shall enter into force on 1 January 2013.
