Abstract
This Law amends certain provisions part of the Law on veterinary medicinal products (originally published in the Official Gazette of the Republic of Croatia 84/2008).
Changes are as follows: in article 1, paragraph 2, item c, after the word: "production", the words "veterinary medicinal products" are added; in point d, after the word: "material", a comma is inserted and the words "microbial reducing agents for veterinary use, products for" in vitro "diagnostics". After the article 1, a new article (1a) is added, containing indications on transposed European Union reference documents (Directive 2001/82/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 6 November 2001 on the Community code relating to veterinary medicinal products; and Directive 2004/28/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 31 March 2004 amending Directive 2001/82/EC on the Community code relating to veterinary medicinal products). Article 2 is amended and re-edited (official terms and definitions); veterinary medicinal products assessment report provisions are added to the article 22; issues on the procedure of cancellation from the register (article 60); after the article 62, the heading and article 62a shall be added (good practice in veterinary medicinal products trade); competent authority and pharmacovigilance (article 63); and some offences and penalty provisions.

Entry into force notes
This Law enters into force eight days after its publication in the Official Gazette, except for the provisions of article 3, added item 59, article 2 and article 14 (added paragraphs 2 and 3 of Article 35) of this Law, which shall enter into force on the date of accession of the Republic of Croatia to the European Union.
