Law on the implementation of the Regulation (EU) No. 609/2013 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 12 June 2013 on feedingstuffs for infants and young children, food for special medical needs and replacement for full-time diet in a reducing diet.

This Law hereby officially adopts the terms and provisions contained in the Regulation (EU) No. 609/2013 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 12 June 2013 on feedingstuffs for infants and young children, food for special medical needs and replacement for full-time diet in a reducing diet, as regards the territory of the Republic of Croatia.
This Law further establishes the competent authority and the tasks of the competent body, the official control principles, the obligations of the food business operator in the implementation of the above mentioned adopted legislation at the level of the European Union, and also establishes the necessary requirements for ingredients and information for the following food categories: initial and transitional food for infants; processed cereal-based foods and baby food; food for special medical needs; and replacement foodstuff for full-day diet and/or as substitute for a full-day diet for body mass control).
