Abstract
This Law regulates the right to submit domestic and cross-border representative claims in collective consumer disputes and the rules of procedure on the basis of which the court discusses and decides on these disputes. The collective interests of consumers represent the general interest of consumers and, especially in representative claims for compensation, the interest of a group of consumers. This Law transposes into Croatian legislation the provisions of the Directive (EU) 2020/1828 on representative actions for the protection of the collective interests of consumers and repealing Directive 2009/22/EC.
