Abstract
This Law amends certain provisions part of the Law on the implementation of Regulation (EC) no. 396/2005 on maximum residue levels of pesticides in or on food and feed of plant and animal origin (originally published in the Official Gazette of the Republic of Croatia 80/2013, and already amended in the Gazette 115/2018).
Amendments are regarding issues and contents provided in article 9 (regarding fees and compensation costs)-a new paragraph (3) is here added: “Unspent earmarked revenues referred to in this article may exceptionally be used for expenditures incurred due to special circumstances or events or a certain situation that could not have been foreseen and which could not be affected, and which endangers the life and health of citizens, property of greater value, significantly disrupts the environment, disrupts economic activity or causes significant economic damage, which is decided by the Minister” (previous paragraphs 3 and 4 become paragraphs 4 and 5).
