Abstract
This Law, as part of general policies of regional development of the Republic of Croatia, here regulates the management of the development of areas that are officially designated and classified as areas that need support (assisted areas). The text is divided into five main Parts and a total of 32 articles. Main titles are as follows: Basic provisions (Part One); Institutional framework and management (Part Two); Measures for the development of supported areas (Part Three); Monitoring and Reporting (Part Four); and Final provisions (Part Five).
The overall goal of this kind of management is to contribute to the economic and general development of assisted areas, in accordance with their specific features and principles of other laws governing the regional development of the Republic of Croatia.
