Abstract
This Law prescribes all necessary requirements and standards aimed to determine the correct procedures and methods for the safe and secure transport and/or transport related activities on the territory of the Croatian Republic when dealing with dangerous goods.
The Law further includes all administrative forms and rules, technical information and criteria, and data collection and inspection provisions.
This Law is divided into VII Chapters and 122 articles, including the offences and related penalties.

Entry into force notes
This Law enters into force eight days after its publication in the Official Gazette.
Notes
The transport of dangerous substances, conditions and operations in connection with the same is also applied with a regard to the following documents/international agreements: The European Agreement on Road Transport of goods in international trade, and the regulations related to the international carriage of dangerous goods by rail, the International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea (SOLAS), Transport of Dangerous Goods, dangerous Goods Code of the International Maritime Organization (IMCO), Rules of the European provisions concerning the International carriage of Dangerous Goods inland Waterways (ADN), International Convention on the Civil air Navigation, Technical Instructions for the safe transport of dangerous goods by air (ICAO) and the Technical rules on the transport of dangerous substances aircraft (IAT) and acts, the Universal Postal Union (UPU).
