Abstract
This Regulation, as in accordance with the Croatian Law on genetically modified organisms, prescribes the detailed requirements to be met by official and national reference laboratories for genetically modified organisms (GMOs) for the purpose of official controls for testing, control and monitoring of GMOs and products consisting of or containing GMOs or a combination of GMOs. This text further sets the necessary procedure and manner of authorization of official and national reference laboratories for such testing, control and monitoring of GMOs and products consisting of or containing GMOs or a combination of GMOs and genetically modified food (GM foods) and GM foods for animals and food/feed that may consist of or contain GMOs or a combination of GMOs, including agricultural plant reproductive material and seed material, plant parts and planting material of forest taxa for use in forestry to perform analyzes of samples taken during execution of official controls.
