Regulation on conditions, criteria and method of awarding support under measure IV.3. "Putting fishery and aquaculture products on the market - compensation".

This Regulation, based on the provisions of the Croatian Law on marine fisheries and Law on aquaculture, establishes the conditions, criteria and method of awarding support within measure IV.3. "Putting fishery and aquaculture products on the market - compensation" within the framework of the European Union's priority "Encouraging marketing and processing", within the framework of the implementation of the Operational Program for Maritime Affairs and Fisheries of the Republic of Croatia for the program period 2014-2020, and in accordance with the provisions of Regulation (EU) No. 508/2014 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the European Maritime and Fisheries Fund and repealing Council Regulations (EC) No. 2328/2003, (EC) No. 861/2006, (EC) No. 1198/2006 and (EC) No. 791/2007 and Regulation (EU) No. 1255/2011 of the European Parliament and of the Council. The subject of the aid is compensation for lost income and additional costs incurred due to market disruption caused by Russia's aggressive war against Ukraine and its effects on the supply chain of fisheries and aquaculture products. The beneficiary of support is an economic entity in fisheries from the sector: a) commercial fishing at sea; b) aquaculture; c) processing of fishery and aquaculture products.
