Abstract
This Regulation sets the rules as regards the grant of compensation for fishing permit holders and members of the crew of fishing vessel as regards the temporary cessation of fishing activities in the segment of bottom trawl fisheries (fishing method or gear), caused on the territory of the Republic of Croatia by the COVID-19 virus pandemic.
This text is stipulated subject to the conditions, criteria and method of granting support under measure I.9. "Temporary cessation of fishing activities" within the framework of EU priorities "Promoting environmentally sustainable, resource efficient, innovative, competitive and knowledge based fisheries". The temporary suspension of fishing activities in terms of this Regulation is a period of 23 days, which shall be implemented from 8 April 2020 at 00:00 hours until 1 May 2020 at 00:00 hours on the entire fishing sea of the Republic of Croatia.
The Annex is also part of this publication (containing the selection criteria; and listed methods for the calculation of related public support).
