Abstract
This Regulation establishes the general principles, requirements and responsibilities regarding the necessary consumer information issues regard to information related to the non pre-packed (unpacked) foods and foodstuffs, including information about the presence of substances or products that may cause allergies or intolerance.
The provisions of this Regulation shall apply without any prejudice to the requirements related to the markings already prescribed by special provisions of the European Union.

Entry into force notes
This Regulation is published in the "Official Gazette", and it will enter into force on 13 December 2014, except for the provisions of article 7 (paragraph 1: items b and e) which shall enter into force on 1 April 2015.
