Abstract
This Regulation prescribes the content and scope of the risk assessment of the deliberate release into the environment (Risk Assessment) of genetically modified organisms (GMOs), the methodology of preparing the risk assessment, and the requirements to be met by legal persons for preparing the risk assessment on the territory of the Croatian Republic.
The Risk Assessment is a scientific-technical analysis which identifies, examines and evaluates potential adverse effects of a genetically modified organisms on biological diversity and/or human health, estimates the risk of its introduction into the environment, and in accordance with such estimation defines necessary measures to monitor and manage the risk.
The Annex is an integral part of this Regulation.
