Regulation on the establishment of the Institute for Soil.

This Regulation officially establishes the Croatian national public institution called the Institute for Soil, established, authorized and approved by the Croatian Government.
The activities, duties, obligations and responsibilities among other important, specific, administrative and technical rules are defined by the provisions provided by this Regulation, including: the task aimed to determine the state of contamination of agricultural land; the permanent monitoring over the condition of agricultural land (physical, chemical and biological), and in particular the content of harmful substances in agricultural land; the establishment of an information system for contaminated agricultural land; the performance of various technical tasks and issues (including the tests on fertility of the agricultural land); the analysis of agricultural land, organic and mineral fertilizers; the pollution control in agricultural land; the complete and mandatory protection of the Croatian based agricultural land; the determination and monitoring over the implementation of minimum standards and professional background of radical ameliorative interventions of agricultural land; the necessary conditions for monitoring and ensuring the protection of the most valuable agricultural land; the damage to agricultural land created by the use of raw materials from agricultural land; the correct performance of other tasks and duties established by this Regulation and also by the Law on agricultural land.
