Regulation on the form and content of the pedigree certificate of pure-bred pigs, their semen, ova and embryos.

This Regulation prescribes the form, content and manner in which the pedigree certificate is issued for pure-bred breeding pigs, their semen, ova and embryos.
The pedigree certificate is issued by the authorized organization or the central association of breeders for pure-bred breeding pigs for which they are authorized to implement the breeding programme.
The pedigree certificate of semen, ova and embryos may be issued by facilities for artificial insemination and stations dealing with the transfer of ova and embryos entered into the Register of Approved Facilities held with the Veterinary Directorate of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management, provided that it is certified by the authorized organization or the central association of breeders.
The pedigree certificate is not issued for semen sold by facilities for artificial insemination in the Republic of Croatia.
The pedigree certificate of pure-bred breeding pigs must contain the following particulars: the name of the issuing organization; the name of the herd-book; the breed; the sex; the entry number in the herd book; the date of issue of the pedigree certificate; the system of animal identification; the animal identification mark; the date of birth; the name and address of the breeder; the name and address of the owner; the parentage with the identification mark of the animal, its parents and grandparents. All results of performance tests, the assessment of the breeding animal itself, its parents and grandparents, must be mentioned in the pedigree certificate, in accordance with the breeding programme set for each breed of pure-bred breeding pigs.
