Abstract
This Regulation prescribes the form, content and method of issuing certificates of origin for pure-bred breeding sheep and goats, their semen, ova and embryos.
Breeding certificate of origin is a document certifying the origin of stem-bred breeding sheep and goats, the origin of registered breeding sheep and goats, their semen, ova and embryos.
A breeding certificate of origin is issued by an authorized institution or central cooperative of breeders that is authorized to carry out the breeding program.
Zootechnical certificate is not issued for the seed that is sold by the artificial insemination centers in Croatia.
A genetic certificate of breeding sheep and goats must contain the following information: a) name of the issuer; b) mark on birth; c) registration number in the register book; d) date of issuance of the certificate of breeding; e) the method used for the marking of the animal; f) unique identification number; g) date of birth; h) breeding specifications; i) gender; j) name and address of the breeder; k) name and address of the owner; l) identification of the origin of the animal, its parents and their parents.
The Annex is an integral part of this Regulation.
