Regulation on the implementation of the measure I.7 "Purchase of Fishing Rights".

This Regulation determines the implementation of the award of support under measure I.7 "Purchase of fishing rights" within Priority 1 of the European Union "Encouragement of sustainable fisheries and restoration and preservation of biological resources" as part of the implementation of the Fisheries and Aquaculture Program of the Republic of Croatia for the 2021-2027 period. The subject of the support is compensation for the purchase of fishing rights to the owner of a fishing vessel that has been granted permission to fish with the following fishing gear: a) coastal trawl nets of specific types (see article 3) for which an approval was issued with a validity period until October 26, 2023; b) surrounding nets (seine nets), for which an authorization was issued with a validity period until October 26, 2024; c) an ax for cutting corals based on the Permit for collecting corals valid until December 31, 2023. Eligibility conditions are laid down in article 4.
