Regulation on the implementation of measure I.9. "Temporary cessation of fishing activities" with bottom trawls-nets for September/October 2024.

This Regulation prescribes the implementation of support under measure I.9 "Temporary cessation of fishing activities" under Priority 1. of the European Union "Promotion of sustainable fisheries and restoration and conservation of biological resources", as part of the implementation of the Fisheries and Aquaculture Programme of the Republic of Croatia for the programming period from the year 2021 until the year 2027. Temporary cessation of fishing activities shall be carried out in the segment of bottom trawl fishing. The subject of the aid is the compensation of licence holders for the fishing vessel and crew members of the fishing vessel for which the licence was issued and includes a one-time earmarked grant for temporary suspension in accordance with the Recommendation of the General Fisheries Commission for the Mediterranean GFCM/43/2019/5 on a multiannual management plan for sustainable demersal fisheries in the Adriatic Sea.
