The objective of this Regulation is to protect the environment from the adverse effects of the abovementioned waste water discharges.
This Regulation stipulates the limit values for parameters or maximum concentrations of hazardous and other substances in: industrial waste waters before their discharge into public sewerage systems or into surface waters; and waste waters from public sewerage systems (urban waste waters), discharged into surface waters after the prescribed treatment.
