Abstract
This Regulation provides methods for the use of sludge from wastewater treatment plants, when sludge is used in agriculture.
The objective of this Regulation is to determine the environmental protection measures for the establishment of management of sludge deriving from wastewater treatment plants where sewage sludge is meant to be used in agriculture in order to prevent harmful effects on soil, plants, animals and population, thereby encouraging the correct use of such sludge.
The Annexes I and II are an integral part of this Regulation.
