Regulation on the management of special categories of waste in the Fund system.

This Regulation prescribes measures for the protection of the environment and human health, by preventing or reducing the harmful effects of the generation and management of waste electrical and electronic equipment (EE waste type), as well as by reducing the overall impacts of the use of natural resources and improving the efficiency of their use, thereby contributing to sustainable development. This text prescribes the conditions for managing EE waste with the aim of preventing its generation, ensuring its reuse, recycling and other methods of recovery. This Regulation prescribes the obligations and responsibilities of all persons involved in the life cycle of electrical and electronic equipment (EE equipment), including designers, constructors, manufacturers, sellers and users, and in particular persons involved in the collection and recovery of EE waste and the disposal of residues from the recovery of EE waste.
