Abstract
This Regulation sets out the rules, manner and related financial details as regards the necessary reproduction control of abandoned dogs in the area of Međimurje County (Romani people settlement).
The purpose of this Regulation, through the compulsory permanent sterilization of dogs as an obligatory way of reproduction control, is to impose, in local self-government units as listed in article 1, necessary animal control measures also important for animal welfare, public safety and human health. Also, mandatory marking of sterilized dogs and their vaccination against rabies are here imposed.
The Annex is also part of this publication (containing the complete text of the implementation Plan for dog population control in in Medjugorje County).
