Regulation on the method of calculation and payment procedure for forest contributions.

This Regulation here prescribes the method of calculation and the procedure for payment of the forest contribution that legal and natural persons pay to local self-government units. Legal and natural persons, except for small forest owners, who sell products of forest exploitation (wooden assortments) are liable to pay the forest contribution. The forest contribution shall be paid to the account of the local self-government unit from the area where the forest was felled and all deriving funds will be used exclusively for financing the construction and maintenance of communal infrastructure. The basis for calculation is closer defined in article 3. For the purpose of dedicated use and control of the expenditure of funds from article 3, local self-government units are obliged to adopt the Forest Contribution Fund Expenditure Program for the current year by 31 March each year.
