Abstract
This Regulation sets the minimum requirements for the protection of calves held for the purpose of breeding and fattening.
For the purpose of animal imports, the competent authority of the foreign country that exports animals must provide a certificate that accompanies the animal and certifies them as animals treated at least in the same manner as prescribed by this Regulation.
The competent authority shall ensure that the veterinary experts of the Health Commission have all the necessary assistance in conducting surveillance activities.
Terms of growing calves must comply with the provisions attached in the Annex of this Regulation.
The Annex is an integral part of this Regulation.

Entry into force notes
This Regulation enters into force eight days after its publication in the Official Gazette, except for the provisions of the article 5, paragraph 3 which will enter into force on the day of Croatian entrance into the European Union.
