Abstract
This Regulation provides minimum requirements for the protection of pigs kept for breeding and fattening.
For the purpose of animal imports, the competent authority of a foreign country that exported animals must provide a certificate that accompanies the animal and certifying them to be treated at least in the same manner as prescribed by this Regulation.
Conditions for growing pigs must be in accordance with the provisions of this Regulation.
The Annex is an integral part of this Regulation.

Entry into force notes
This Regulation enters into force eight days after its publication in the Official Gazette, except for the provisions of the article 6, paragraph 3 that will enter into force on the day of Croatian entrance into the European Union.
