Abstract
This Regulation prescribes all necessary rules and standards aimed to protect and prevent the introduction of classical swine fever (infectious disease) by prohibiting the importation into the Croatian Republic and the transit through its territory of domestic and wild pigs and products derived from Republic of Italy-Regions: Umbria, Campania, Veneto, Emilia Romagna and Sardegena.
The prohibition prescribed by this Regulation shall not apply to products of domestic and wild pigs intended for human consumption that are (before or during the production process) subjected to heat treatment that achieves a core temperature of the product of at least 70 ° C or subjected to heat treatment in a hermetically sealed container with a Fo value of 3 and more.
