Abstract
This Regulation prescribes certain rules and standards aimed to protect and to prevent the introduction of classical swine fever (infectious disease) by prohibiting the importation into the Croatian Republic and the transit through its territory of domestic and wild pigs and products derived from such animals and originating or arriving from Bulgaria, more specifically the Sofia and Vratza region.
The prohibition prescribed by this Regulation also applies to shipments of live and wild pigs that originated from other countries if they are transported through the territory of Bulgaria-Sofia and Vratza region.
