Regulation on the protection and preservation of the "Velebit" Nature Park.

This Regulation prescribes necessary measures for the protection, preservation, improvement and use of this management zone of the "Velebit" Nature Park. Employees of the Public Institution "Velebit Nature Park", residents of the Park, owners and holders of rights to real estate in the Park, natural and legal persons who perform permitted activities in the Park area, visitors and other users of the Park premises are obliged to comply provisions of this text. Owners and holders of other real rights within the Park and other users of the Park area are obliged to allow representatives of the Foundation and holders of work permits and/or other permits to perform public service activities for the purpose of nature protection, to visit natural resources for the purpose of scientific and professional research, as well as monitoring and direct monitoring of the implementation of activities, prescribed nature protection conditions and conservation measures in the Park, unless otherwise prescribed by special regulations. Management of the Park is carried out on the basis of the Management Plan. For the purpose of preserving natural values and the necessary level of management and manner of use, the Park area is divided into management zones and subzones. The cartographic representation of management zones is contained in Annex I which is part of this text. These protection measure include forests and forest land, water resources, animal (also hunting issues) and other nature elements which are present in this area.
