Abstract
This Regulation prescribes terms and conditions for the recognition and withdrawal of recognition of producer organizations, associations and producers in the sector of olive oil and table olives.
Producers' organizations: a) consists of producers of olives, olive oil and/or table olives registered in the register of agricultural holdings, which are not members of any other recognized producers' organizations in the sector of olive; b) at least 30 members; c) have a statute governing the operation, mergers, terms of membership, voting rights, etc; d) has a three-year work program in order to accomplish one or more of the objectives of article 8 of this Regulation; e) ensuring order in accounting and commercial management of its activities; f) allows the implementation of controls on the ground of article 12 and 13 of this Regulation; g) submit to the Agency for Payments in Agriculture, Fisheries and Rural Development the annual work programs, annual funding requirements, and annual reports on the implementation of programs.
The association of producer organizations: a) consists of recognized producer organizations that are not part of another recognized association of producer organizations in the sector of olive; b) combining at least 5 organizations in the sector of olive; c) a three-year work program in order to accomplish one or more of the objectives of article 8 this Regulation; d) allows the implementation of controls on the ground of article 12 and 13 this regulation; e) submit to the Agency for payment for the annual work programs, annual funding requirements, and annual reports on the implementation of programs.
The annex is an integral part of this Regulation.
