Abstract
This Regulation prescribes the scope and content of the assessment report on the adequacy of placing on the market of GMOs or products containing and/or consisting or originating from genetically modified organisms, on the territory of the Croatian Republic.
The assessment report on the adequacy of placing on the market GMOs or products containing and/or consisting or originating from GMOs shall consist of an introductory, middle and closing section, also defined by standards already implemented as mandatory methods.
This Regulation further implements the provisions provided by the Directive 2001/18/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council on the deliberate release into the environment of genetically modified organisms and repealing Council Directive 90/220/EEC.

Entry into force notes
This Regulation shall enter into force on the eighth day after the day of its publication in the Official Gazette, with the exception of article 6 paragraph1 in the part referring to competent bodies of other EU Member States and of the European Commission which will enter into force on the day of accession of the Republic of Croatia into the European Union.
