Abstract
This Regulation prohibits the slaughter of offspring animals of the following species (breeders and livestock categories): calves Simmental and brown breed and their crosses with beef breeds up to 320 kg of live weight; pigs of all breeds and crossbreeds up to 40 kg of effective live weight.
This Regulation will not be applied in case of the required slaughter caused by: a) injury; b) problems or insufficient characteristics during the growth; and/or c) infectious or other genetic disease/diseases or other physiological disorders, even if not part of those with the prescribed mandatory (security procedure) slaughtering.
