Abstract
This Regulation, based on the provisions of the Croatian Law on marine fisheries, prescribes the spatial and temporal limitation of commercial fishing at sea with bottom trawl nets for the year 2022. Vessels engaged in commercial fishing with bottom trawls are banned from fishing in fishing zones C, D and E in the period from 15 September 2022 (00:00 hours) until 14 October 2022 (at 24:00 hours). As an exception to these rules, in fishing zone E, the following areas are exempt from restrictions: 1st part of subzone E1 north of the junction: Cape Grota on the island of Cres – Cape Pelova on the island of Krk; sub-zone E2 (see map in the Annex of this publication for complete cartographic representation of areas covered by spatial and temporal limitations). The entry into force of this text does not call into question the provisions of the Regulation on commercial fishing at sea with a bottom trawl (Official Gazette of the Republic of Croatia 102/2017, 74/2018 and 20/2019) and the Regulation on fishing in protected areas, special habitats and areas with special regulation of fishing (Official Gazette of the Republic of Croatia 125/2020).
