Abstract
This Regulation defines special conditions for carrying out sampling and testing of water, except for water for human consumption under special regulations, and in particular provides details on technical equipment, the number and expertise of entrusted operators and /or employees, the technical specifications for testing and monitoring of water, sedimentation and analysis over emissions of pollutants in wastewater, the minimum performance requirements for methods of analysis applicable to the testing and monitoring of water, and rules for proving the quality of obtained analytical results.
This text also implements the terms and provisions of the Commission Directive 2009/90/EC of 31 July 2009 laying down, pursuant to Directive 2000/60/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council, technical specifications for chemical analysis and monitoring of water status.
