Abstract
This Regulation, based on the provisions of the Croatian Water Law, prescribes the content and manner of taking the exam for water guards, the form and content of the water guard card and sets the manner for keeping the register of issued cards. Terms used in this text, which have a gender meaning, refer equally to the masculine and feminine genders. A water keeper who has not passed the water guard exam is obliged to pass it no later than one year from the day of concluding the employment contract. The place and time of taking the water guard examination shall be determined by the ministry competent for water management. The Annex is part of this publication (set of designated application forms/sheets, certificate of passed exam; water guard card sample).
