Abstract
This Regulation consists of 3 Parts divided into 21 sections.
It is followed by facsimiles of model forms for certification of food for human consumption, animal health and products of animal origin destined for internal and external trade. Food, in this Regulation, is defined as fresh and frozen meat, meat products which have undergone a heat treatment in a hermetically sealed container, as well as meat products without any treatment, fresh poultry meat, eggs and poultry meat products, heat-treated milk, milk-based products made from heat-treated milk, bee honey and other products, finfish, crustaceans, molluscs and canned fish. Product certification must comply with EC standards. The text contains facsimiles of the certificates which have to be stamped and signed by competent veterinary inspectors. The competent veterinarian authority shall control and sign certificates. The supervision of this Regulation lies with the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry.
