Abstract
This Regulation establishes the criteria on the basis of which the national competent authority shall authorize the exemption of the veterinary medicinal product prescription use (here related for animals intended for human consumption), also in accordance with the provisions of the Regulation on veterinary medicinal products (originally published in the Official Gazette of the Republic of Croatia 30/2009.
Article 2 sets out the list of criteria for such possible exemption. Article 3 states that the competent national authority shall notify the European Commission as regards the approved exemptions.

This Regulation enters into force eight days after its publication in the Official Gazette, except for the provisions of article 3 of this text that shall start on the day of accession of the Republic of Croatia to the European Union.
