Agreement between the Government of Hungary and the Government of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam on cooperation in the field of water management.

The fields of cooperation are as follows: Strengthening cooperation between institutions of the two countries which conduct education, training and research activities in the field of water management; Mutual exchange of scientific information, publications, professors, students and experts; Exchanging information and experiences in the fields of: a) integrated water management strategies, river basin management plans, legal and economic regulations, incentives; b) protection and sustainable development of water resources, including abstraction and utilization of thermal and irrigation waters; c) qualitative and quantitative monitoring of waters; d) mitigation of the effect of climate change; e)flood management; f) higher and technical education; Elaboration and implementation of mutual action programs and projects; Encouraging enterprises of both countries to participate in cooperation programs/projects This Agreement is concluded for an indefinite period of time. For the Hungarian Party, the minister in charge of water affairs shall provide for the implementation of this Agreement.
