Abstract
The purpose of this Agreement is to cooperate in the field of peaceful use, development and application of atomic energy and may include exchange of information and technology; delivery of nuclear substances and equipment; implementation of research, development and planning activities in the field of agriculture, industry, electric energy production and medicine; technical trainning; and technical aid and service provision, including exchange of technical staff and experts. The competent authorities for the implementation of this Agreement for Hungary is the minister in charge of energy policy and the director-general of the National Atomic Energy Office. This Agreement shall be in force for 30 years.

This Agreement entered into force on 12 January 1988.
