Agreement on cooperation in the field of environmental protection between Hungary and the USSR.

The parties shall cooperate in environmental protection and sustainable use of natural resources, with a view to contributing to the solution of global environmental problems. Cooperation shall be in the fields of scientific research and technical development, exchange of information, conferences, mutual aid in case of natural disaster and environment-polluting accidents. The Agreement is valid for five years and will be automatically extended for a further five years unless one of the parties rescinds within six months of expiry.
