Abstract
This Decree regards the prevention of salmonella serotypes of public health relevance. It contains provisions determining the duties of laboratories, enterpreneurs and slaughterhouses. Article 7 lists the objectives of prevention, while Article 8 determines the stocks for which the participation in the prevention program is mandatory or voluntary and the way of how to participate. Article 9 regards sampling procedure and analysis. Salmonella free certificate may be issued for healthy stocks according to Article 10, while Article 11 provides rules of proceeding in case of positive results for salmonella. Article 12 contains special rules for certain types and special cases of salmonella contamination. Article 13 concerns medical treatment and vaccination of animal stocks.
