Decree No. 23 of 1998 of the Ministry of Transport, Communication and Water Management on the establishment of a water resources inventory of the water authority.

This Decree establishes an inventory of the quantity and quality of water resources in order to comply with the duties of national water management and with the obligations of international agreements, and in the interest of the creation a modern computerized basis for water management. The inventory contains technical, economic and legal data and other relevant facts about waters, their bed and other natural formations, the quantity and quality of water resources and their use, and lastly waterworks.
