Abstract
This Decree must apply to the activities carried out by small-scale producers of foodstuff and marketed within 40km. Part A of Annex 1 determines how much is considered small quantity of primary products and processed products. Part B of Annex 1 lists the services that may be offered by small-scale producers. Small-scale producers of food are liable for ensure food safety, quality and traceability. These producers must report on their activities and regarding any changes to the local office of the Central Agricultural Office (CAO). Control of small-scale producers is the duty of CAO local offices. Animal stocks used for food production of animal origin or animals for slaughter and meat must be inspected by an official veterinarian who issue the animal health certificate and the certificate necessary for meat transport. Food hygiene requirements in respect to the activities under this Decree are determined in Annex 4. Special requirements of poultry and rabbit meat processing and marketing are contained in Annex 5.
