Decree No. 540 of 2013 (XII. 30.) Korm. of the Government concerning the identification, designation and protection of essential agricultural system components and facilities.

This Decree provides rules concerning the identification, designation and protection of essential system components and facilities with regard to the agricultural sector. It prescribes criteria for identification and designation. The most important sub-sectors are plant gene reserves, seed producing plants, veterinary vaccine production plants, certain food production plants, food logistics facilities and catering facilities above a certain production capacity. The facilities identified may be classified as of national or European relevance.
