Abstract
This Decree must be applied in the territory of Hungary to food production and marketing. Food shall be produced, except for certain cases, according to the provisions of this Decree. Articles 4-8 contain rules regarding authorization and registration of food processing plants. Articles 9-11 concern notification and registration of food processing plants. Articles 12-17 lay down general and specific provisions concerning the marketing of food. Articles 18-21 regard the modification, suspension and withdrawal of authorizations. Articles 22 and 23 contain sanction. Control of observation of the provisions of this Decree is the competence of the food-chain safety and animal health authority.
